My team, The Guinness Tossers, took the championship title in last Saturdays Ultimate Frisbee Tournament! Joy of Joys! It was super fun to run around with friends all day. But after 5 games of frisbee and a month of planning leading up to the weekend…I was wasted! I went to bed at 9pm and my alarm woke me up at 8 the next morning.
But we did raise $1500 for Vision Nationals and MH Sports! And I got to see God’s sovereignty throughout the day. Praise Jesus!

The buzz is starting over here in Seattle. More and more people are beginning to understand what Vision Nationals is and what we do. It’s exciting!
Last Sunday I was able to share about VN with the leaders from my campus at our monthly Sync. It’s funny…I’m not usually nervous when I speak in front of people, but I was on Sunday. It was good for me.
This weekend we’re having a Softball and Ultimate Frisbee Tournament that will benefit the new Medical Clinic in India. And!!!! We finally got in the shipment of lovely postcard sized info cards on what VN is and does! They will have their debut at Church this Sunday

I will be having my eyes cut open by a laser on Thursday, August 28th. I can hardly wait!
I have been thinking to have lasik sugery on my eyes for about four years now, and I am finally in a place where I can actually do it! My Grandpa is a man of vision, always has been. He and my Grandma set up funds for each of their grandchildren on the day we were born, and I’ve decided to use mine to correct my vision.
It’s pretty cool that my Grandpa’s vision to bless each of his grandchildren in this way is granting me vision! You all can pray for me as I go in…It’s a relatively routine surgery, and I’m not actually nervous (yet). But surgery is surgery.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! It’s truly a gift to be able to carry on the legacy you have left to each of us!
