Part of the wonderfulness of traveling so much is getting to meet amazing people! Chris and Dema Weil have hosted me in Colorado Springs a number of times…But this time, I was able to watch, help, and learn as Dema prepared her delicious and authentic Filipino Spring Rolls!!! When I get home…I’m going to give it a try!

Arjuna Sharing in Church
On Sunday Arjuna, Raji, and I attended Mountain Springs Church in Colorado Springs where Arjuna shared about the beginnings of Vision Nationals with the congregation. Afterwards we met lots of people and were able to have lunch with a team of people from the church who will be going to India in July. It was a fruitful Sunday!

The View from Home
Well, on the 18th I left Seattle to go to my home town of Ridgway, CO. It is the loveliest little town on the face of the earth, and it is home to Vision Nationals state-side office! I got to spend two lovely days at home working and visiting with family before heading to Colorado Springs where we (Arjuna, his wife Raji, and my parents) met up with other Board Members for the annual Vision Nationals Board Meeting.
It was a great meeting! Such a blessing to see God’s hand move through the wisdom of the men on the Board! I should have taken some pics…but alas, I totally forgot! However, I do have some pics from a lunch meeting we had with some supporters on Saturday and also some from Mountain Springs Church where Arjuna spoke this morning. I will get those up tomorrow while in route to Knoxville, Tennessee! That is…if the airport has wi-fi.

God gave another bus!
Exciting news! We were able to raise some money from the Mars Hill Blog Post on our School Bus need, but we were still short a couple thousand dollars at the end of April. But yesterday the office manager for Vision Nationals informed me that one of our supporting churches in the Denver area read about the need in our Newsletter and offered to pay the balance! Hooray! Thanks for providing, Father!
